The three oldest Baskin children and I have finished the Inca Trail.  We have rejoined Susie and Virginia returned from Cusco to Lima. In fact, we will be on a plane to return home in less than 1.5 days.

So my great blogging adventure will end very soon. Oddly enough, after making efforts to write a blog while on the Inca Trail (a 4 day, 3 night trek involving trekking and no electricity at all), I felt silly blogging in a tent rather than either hang with the kids or just sleep.

As a result, I will offer three blogs.

• My modest effort at the end of day one.
• My even more modest effort after day two.
• A summary blog that attempts to look at this challenging, but rewarding experience with the benefit of hindsight.
