Exciting activities
Camp activities reinforce the mission of Camp Champions, providing an interactive, outdoors (and sometimes underwater) environment to teach new skills and hone past ones. We organize activities into five different departments: Waterfront, Ropes, Outdoors, Sports and Fine Arts.

Texas is hot in the summer, and that makes us all grateful for Lake LBJ! Everyone has fun in the water—Jet Skiing, Wakeboarding, Water Skiing, Tubing, Paddle Boarding, Kayaking, Canoeing, Sailing, not to mention Swimming in our pools…

Feel like superman flying high above lake LBJ! This activity is reserved for our oldest campers.
Paddleboarding
Like walking on water, only better.
Rope Swing
Can you brave the rope swing into lake LBJ? Try two different heights from our tower at the lake!
Jungle Joe
Get adventurous in the Kayak Cove as you take on the Jungle Joe!
Jumping Boards
Practice your trick shots at the jumping boards at the waterfront.
Ropes
The great outdoors offers all campers the opportunity to have a real adventure. Children reach new heights on our Ropes Courses and Climbing Walls or test their skills navigating our multi-story Pirate Ship and Spaceship.
Texas Two Step
Dance with the many climbing elements on the Texas Two Step.
Wall
The climb is tough, but the view from the top is worth it.
Zip Line
Soar through the blue Texas skies on our 560ft zip line!
Pirate Ship
Arrrrgh, Matey! Are you ready to conquer our multi-level Pirate Ship ropes course?!

Would you dare take the plunge?
Slacklining
Test your balance and walk the line at our CC Slack Park!
Outdoors
Make four-legged friends at camp’s petting zoo, take a turn behind the wheel on our Indy track, or take aim and go for the bullseye. The possibilities are endless in camp’s expansive Outdoors department!

Axe Throwing is reserved for our older campers! This takes aim and strength, how do you think you would do?

For our younger campers to practice their skills, we have a BB range where they can practice their aim and safety!
Reptiles
Get to see snakes, a bearded dragon and more at our reptile shed.
Fine Arts
Campers appreciate the opportunity to slow down during the day and focus on a project in our amazing fine arts center, The Hearth. Complete with 6 studios, reading nooks, slides, and an upstairs deck, it’s perfect for exploration and inspiration. The activities below provide a creative balance to the daily schedule of camp.

Campers bake treats and more in our cooking class at our Outdoor Cooking Pavilion (OCP).
Sports
Fast action, balanced by good sportsmanship, and thrilling moments of victory can all be found at Camp Champions. We play Basketball, Football, Soccer, Tennis, Spikeball, Capture the Flag, Pickleball, Kickball, GaGa, Volleyball, and Lacrosse, plus we do Yoga and Fitness…it’s hard not to have fun!

Never heard of Pickleball? It’s kind of like a cross between ping-pong and tennis. Crazy, huh?
